This policy explains what personal information BlackRidge Global collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, where it goes and the rights you have over it. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run our service, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
BlackRidge Global (company no. 17326983) is a UK property sourcing business with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA. We are the data controller for the information described here. For anything privacy-related, contact info@blackridgeglobal.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us — your name, email address, phone number, where you are based, your budget range, the strategies you are interested in, and anything you write in a message, quiz answer or sourcing brief.
- Booking details — if you book a call through Calendly, the time you choose and the details you enter there.
- Technical data — if you accept analytics cookies, information about how you use the site (pages viewed, approximate location from IP address, device type). If you choose "essential only", we do not collect this.
Why we collect it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and provide our service — because you asked us to (legitimate interests, and taking steps to enter a contract).
- To keep in touch about opportunities relevant to what you told us you are looking for — legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us, and we stop.
- To understand how the website is used — only with your consent, via analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
Where your information goes
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. Each acts as a processor on our behalf:
- HubSpot (EU data centre) — our client relationship system, where enquiry details are stored, and our website analytics if you consent to cookies.
- FormSubmit — relays website form submissions to our email.
- Netlify — hosts this website.
- Calendly — call scheduling, if you book a call.
- Google Fonts — delivers this site's typefaces; your browser requests them from Google's servers, which involves your IP address.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where a deal you pursue requires it (for example, introducing you to a solicitor or broker — which we only do with your knowledge).
International transfers
Our team operates from the UK and Dubai, so your information may be accessed from outside the UK. Wherever that happens, it remains protected to UK GDPR standards through our providers' safeguards (including standard contractual clauses where applicable).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are actively helping you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. If you ask us to delete your information, we will — unless a legal obligation (such as anti-money-laundering record-keeping on completed transactions) requires us to retain specific records.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to: access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or provide it to you in a portable format. Email info@blackridgeglobal.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
What we don't do
No automated decision-making, no profiling that produces legal effects, no selling or renting of personal data — ever.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
